Economics, Excellence, Energy, Expectations, Everyday

Whatever your endeavor or investment may be, you must first be well versed and study the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. Be sure that what you chose to put your energy into is timely, in demand, or can entice customers. Economics truly is a social science. The new entrepreneur must socialize with new groups of people in order to master the science of what is currently in demand. Once you are aware what is in demand you can find your niche and service it. Whatever you chose you must commit to excellence in its execution. Excellence takes energy. Energy is derived from a good diet, good sleep, healthy bowels, and healthy relationships. You cannot expect to make good judgement with poor diet, sleep, bowels, or relationships. Lack of attention to any of these will cause poor judgement, lack of confidence and commitment.

Make sure that your expectations are reasonably high. This means creating the highest quality

D-Downsizing, Depression, Disasters, Doubt, Declarations

The workforce is riddled with downsizing. A simple budget cut may eliminate your postion. Preparre yourself with your entrepreneurial endeavors. If you do this before downsizing you may be able to walk away first.

If you do this while within a company you love, you may be able to create a service or product that will give you a second stream of income. If you prepare yourself with your entrepreneurial endeavors while within a company you love you may obtain information that can lead you toward a wise investment. Seek legal advice before doing this and be sure that the information you obtained was available for public disclosure and use.

A disatrous project may lead to demotion or firing. Have your passion in hand to save you. Depression due to on job stress or anxiety may have created a need for you to change your life. Build your wealth around your whole self not just your job. Invest in things that you know and are passionate about or create a business that you are familiar with.

Doubt will give you reasons not to take a chance on yourself. Stop doubt by declaring aloud your wishes and intention for new ways to create wealth.

Questions. Have you been apart of a downsizing or know of someone who has? Are you depressed at work and can't wait to get home to something you are more passionate about? Have you ever been a part of a disaster at work? What happened and what were the consequences?

Activities
Create a side by side list of each doubt that keeps you from your dreams and the dreams themselves. Create your declaration by combining the dreams into a sentence. You might want to start the sentence with something like  "On this day I _______
declare that i am passionate about ______ and will do________or will pursue________.

Take the list of your doubts and burn them. Seriously BURN THEM! RIGHT NOW!!!

C-Courage Commitment Confindence Cash Consistency, Conquer

You must have the Courage to believe that you can be successful pursuing something you are passionate about. Your courage will be tested repeatedly and therefore you must be committed to your enterprise. This is why you must feel passionate about your endeavor. Pursuit of a get rich quick scheme, or the latest fast money fad will most likely fail if it is without your total enthusiasm. If you believe in your business, if you have good faith in your investment, then you will gain confidence with every success and see obstacles as mere challenges. Delays as stepping stones to achieving total success.

Cash is needed to pay for food, clothing, shelter, utilities, and to fund your business or investment. The reality is that at first you will probably have to work for someone else for periods of time in order to fund your life and your enterprise. Funding your enterprise means earning money, experience, respect, and connections through middle term positions. When you are able, align yourself with employment that can teach you the fundamentals of the type of business or investment you are interested in. Consider your cash in abundance when you are learning the ups and downs of a particular enterprise. Know that you are on the right path. When you find yourself in a position that is depressing, mentally draining, and unlike anything you are interested in, consider your customer service, or quality assurance. This means take the time to understand people and try to be the bright spot in an otherwise grey work atmosphere while doing quality work. Courage Commitment Confidence, and Cash must stay consistent. This is the only way to conquer the feat of becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Questions
Name a time in your life when you felt you were your most courageous and least courageous? Identify the differences between the two examples. What qualities were identified during your most courageous moment ? How can you display those qualities in your enterprise? Where can courage be applied in your pursuit?
Name One thing in your life that you are committed to. How many hours per day do you spend committed to what you named? Can you align your enterprise with other commitments? (i.e. if you named your mate, child or pet how can you involve them in building your enterprise?) Define Confidence. Identify 10 qualities that you are confident about in yourself? If you cannot identify 10 fill in the blank spaces with qualities that you are not confident about in yourself and identify how can you build upon those qualities. If you are able to find 10 qualities that you are confident about name five additional qualities that are challenging to you and identify how you can overcome those challenges.

Activities
1. If in group session have everyone come prepared to display some talent, craft, or quality that they feel confident about. 2. Prepare a budget? See budget exercise on last page

B-Basics, Building, Breathe

The Basics are reading writing and mathematics. You will need these skills to be sharp to start and stay successful in business. If you aren't good at it, you will have to surround yourself with people who are good at it. You must surround yourself with others who are, because you cannot do it all alone.

Building. You will have to build, build a an idea, a concept, a product, a business plan, an accounting plan, a marketing plan, and a team to execute it. You will have to build bridges to keep the idea, concept, or product flowing. That flow with a price is called cash, and accounted for properly you should have enough cash to reinvest in your business, your retirement, and in yourself. Now Breathe.

Breath is the essence of life and if you are not breathing you are not feeding the spirit of life. Get out and breathe fresh air. Open the window's, if there aren't any window's make time to go outside and cherish the fresh air. Breathe life into your idea and it will grow.

Questions 1. How sharp are your basic skills? How can you effectively surround yourself with other people with sharp basic skills? What do you need to build first? An idea, business plan, team? How often do you catch yourself holding your breath?

Activities 1. Log Down your sharpest and weakest basic skills? Log down what makes a good entrepreneurial team member. Build a list of good qualities to look for. Take a minute and practice breathing, first closing one nostril, then the other. Meditate for 45 minutes or more in a relaxed state. This is an opportunity to invite a group to bring different things to bring a room into a state of relaxation (NOT SLEEPING)

A-Accountability Accessibility Awesomeness

Ladies and Gentlemen when building a corporation you have to learn your ABC's just like any other language. When you decide you are an entrepreneur you must learn these ABC's and surround yourself with experts in the areas you are not educated. Accountants keep accurate track of finances. Accountability for every dollar spent. Focusing on these principles and we cannot go wrong. Accessibility. You have to be accessible to information, events, opportunities, and openings. You cannot be an Entrepreneur if you keep your ideas hidden and stacked away in binders and folders. You do have to make what you present accessible to others. It must be legible. People must be able to read it. In the beginning it's your voice, the way you speak to people about your idea or your business, then it's formatted on paper, letters, flyers, brochure's, and proposals. Then when you are able it's the worldwide web, radio, television, and film. Depending on your level of ambition, the rungs on the ladder of success only get higher. Awesomeness. You, your presentation, and your idea must go through a few levels, but if you believe in it, and you are dedicated to it, your business will find it's state of awesomeness.

Questions

1. What is the purpose of using a professional accountant for your business? Will you use your accountant for both your personal finances as well as your business? look at the state of your personal and business finances right now, are you qualified to be your own accountant?

The Owner's Wife An Entrepreneur's ABC Handbook

The title The Owner's Wife comes from going to work with my mother as a child and seeing how everyone's behavior would change when the owner or his wife arrived. A degree of professionalism would emerge in an otherwise slacker environment. The only employee whose behavior never changed was my mother she believed in self policing and doing a good job because she was a happy person who was passionate about making a good life for us. However as passionate as my mother was about making a good life for us she absolutely hated her job and it would lead to her early death at 54. This book is written for anyone who is sitting at a job they hate and still not making enough money to fully enjoy life away from the job. This book comes with a recommended reading list of books that elaborate and go into detail on concepts mentioned in this book. Take this book with you to work and read it. If you call off because you hate your job, stay home and read this book. I urge you to create multiple streams of income while you are young and able all with the intent of retirement on healthy budget.
